The overseas use and development of Drone technology was simply a Beta testing program, If the American public can approve it’s use against other (Lesser) human beings, it isn’t long before the same military/industrial/surveillance interests would use it here too.
New documents reveal that the Predator drones commissioned by the Department of Homeland Security are able to locate civilians who are carrying guns and keep track of them using the signals from their cell phones.
The tracking features were custom-built into the Predator B drone fleet and the news prompts real concern among Americans now that drones are not only being used in Afghanistan for battle but also in the U.S. to make arrests.
Design features that the Department of Homeland Security required on the drones specifically stated that they ‘shall be capable of identifying a standing human being at night as likely armed or not’.They should also have ‘interception’ systems that can trace and spot cell phone signals.
‘I am very concerned that this technology will be used against law-abiding American firearms owners,’ said Alan Gottlieb, the founder of the Second Amendment Foundation which promotes the continued rights of gun owners. That was the case in the North Dakota town called Lakota where Rodney Brossart and four relatives were arrested for stealing cattle from a neighbor’s farm.
