Does Your Local Government Have a ‘Black Budget’ Too?

As we learn more about the US intelligence community’s top secret, multi-billion dollar “Black budget” and how the NSA pays technology companies to comply with the Prism spying program, another mostly unnoticed pipeline moves billions of federal surveillance dollars from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to local governments for dragnet surveillance systems that include video camera networks, automated license plate readers, facial recognition, and even drones and tanks.

As the scope of federal surveillance becomes clearer, all of us should take a hard look at federal surveillance grants to local communities, consider how they distort local democracy, and demand more civil liberties safeguards, oversight, and accountability. Federal grants to local and state governments for the purchase of new surveillance technology have risen dramatically over the last decade, all with little to no local oversight. Federal dollars—as much as $300 million from DHS just last year—find their way to local governments via opaque grant programs.

Any debate over local purse strings slips into the background as the primary question for local governments becomes “Why wouldn’t we take this cash?”

Like the federal intelligence community’s black budget, which allows our federal government to allocate billions of taxpayer dollars for spying, all without public debate, these federal grants to local communities also distort the democratic process and prevent a meaningful discussion of the relative costs and benefits of surveillance technology.

This cannot continue. Increased transparency about surveillance programs needs to be built in from the start and it should begin with robust public discussion well before applications are made for federal funds.

Apple and Biometrics: Iphone 5S is Big Brother’s Ideal Surveillance Tool

The wireless age has grown leaps and bounds since the turn of the new millennium. From big square cellphones, to flip phones, to the new touch screen phones that can access the Internet wherever service is available. However, communications just went ‘Back to the Future’; 1984 to be exact, and was secretly given over to Big Brother.

Apple’s new iPhone 5s will come in many(pretty,distracting) colors, and with a brand new feature; Touch ID. Touch ID uses biometrics technology so users can scan their fingerprints to better lock their phones. The latest series of Apple’s iPhone will not only continue to cultivate numerous apps that track your location through GPS and transmit data directly back to corporations and government, but contain a fingerprint sensor that stores your fingerprint in order to purchase apps and unlock the phone for use. For most, this seemingly harmless feature is just that; harmless. But for privacy advocates, and those who understand the direction we are heading in, our biggest fears were realized.

And that’s really just the beginning. As millions will most likely continue through the Apple food chain and purchase this phone, the NSA and bloated federal government at large will be beyond ecstatic. Because after all, it’s a real dream come true for the Big Daddy government spy state.

No longer will you actually need to be arrested to gather your fingerprints — we’re talking about millions nationwide willingly submitting their biometrics to a database that most certainly is accessible by Apple and big government.

Of course Apple claims that the fingerprint scans will be ‘local’ on your hardware, but of course the NSA and FBI would not let such a precious database go to waste. And we already know that corporations are making big bucks spying on the data of consumers.

In the digital age, wireless technology, and biometrics are increasingly becoming one. It should be no surprise that Apple was the first to get their hands on the biometrics technology and incorporate it into its new phone. Your phone is now a wireless world in and of itself, where Big Brother has his hands on the pulse. Cell phones can scan Q codes, swipe credit cards, and now read your own, unique fingerprints. This is building to the new age: the age of a cashless society.

When everything from books, to bank transactions are carried out over the Internet, this enables governments to censor, delete, manage, and monitor an individual’s trends. People should wake up to the fact that although the technology has a potential for being great, the current political and governmental system, mixed with the path we are on, is a powder keg of nefarious snooping, spying, information databasing, and outright theft.

As we inch towards a world in which our electronics are based around biometrics, it becomes an eery reality that our Big Daddy, Big Brother system is continually holding our hands as we walk right into the current spy system that our overlords continue to assert does not exist.

DHS Close To Perfecting Facial Recognition System

Facial recognition technology has improved by leaps and bounds in terms of speed and accuracy over recent years. The government has poured a great deal of money into deploying facial recognition technology around the country as well.

Government databases have expanded rapidly and local police have begun to use facial recognition technology to arrest suspects.Currently, many facial recognition systems are limited in their ability to identify in the variety of conditions outlined in the statement. In addition, many systems are not at all portable. Apparently, DHS seeks to make both of these limitations a thing of the past.

Most interesting of all, the DHS statement of work reveals that the technology will be utilizing 3-Dimensional facial recognition, something which is far more accurate and requires only a small part of the suspect’s face to be captured.

Never Forget

I’ve been hearing it all day, Never forget 9/11….

What am I supposed to never forget..?

Never forget the official propaganda/government approved conspiracy theory.

Never forget to remember this day only in terms of officially sanctioned history, and to “not tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories” of the official events?

Never Forget that the US Government/C.I.A created the very same “terrorist” enemy, Al-Qaeda, that it blamed these attacks on? Which in turn ushered in the new era of an American Police Sate, with draconian legislation such as the Patriot Act, Military commissions act and the NDAA.

Never forget that these events almost perfectly mirrored the Reichstag Fire, The Lavon Affair, or Operation NorthWoods in that the excuse to expand the power of the Shadow Government and to wage war, in everyone of these cases was “Terrorism”

Never forget how the US Government used September 11 as a pretext for endless war, military occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan, and continuing intervention in the Middle East?

Transhumanist Bankers Plan Robotic Future

International airports in Britain greet arrivals and departures with the letters ‘HSBC’ and the words “The World’s Bank” plastered boldly over plane docking bays and passenger corridors.HSBC is “A British multinational banking and financial services organisation headquartered in London, England.” It is “One of the largest banking and financial services institutions in the world, servicing around fifty eight million customers(Such as Terrorists and Drug Dealers) through four Global Businesses.”

Now the thing about HSBC is that it is interested in more than just banking and it believes that it has ‘seen the future’. Walking down the ramp to enter the plane for Poland at London’s Stansted airport, I was greeted once again by HSBC’s pervasive branding. However this time, the letters appeared above a large picture of a bumble bee . It had been half engineered into a ‘bee-bot’. In large letters above this unfortunate insect appear the words “In The Future – Nature and Technology Will Work as One”.

In actual fact Now mechanized, non animal ‘bots’ (officially ‘nano-bots’) are the latest little flying military spy machines. No bigger than an actual bee – they are apparently capable of flying in swarms straight through your open living or bedroom window – and flying out again replete with photographic data gleaned while hovering around your home. Their creators suggest that the ‘bots’ might be capable of dispensing a lethal sting into their victim as well. It’s like mini drone technology whose intended victims are none other than … us?

HSBC is implicated up to its neck in most of the rotten scams that the banking fraternity has pulled on its customers over the past decade or so – and is now continuing in the same vein by planting an almost surreally dark message into the public mind.

The message being conveyed is simple enough: the bankers are to continue their power play for total control by announcing their backing of the ultimate mutation of nature. That’s close enough to the mark: how would you describe the conjoining of nature and technology within a living organism for the purpose of advancing the total dehumanisation of homo sapiens? Put another way: the usurping of the natural laws that govern our behaviour through the substitution of man-made simulated versions governed by a programmed computer chip.

What we have with HSBC’s ‘nano bots’ is a direct extension of transgenic engineering. Their advert is an in-your-face pronouncement that the bank ‘has seen the future’ and is going to put it’s customers’ savings into making that future come to be.

But just under the surface lies an extraordinary admission of dark intent by this leading British bank – bringing into razor sharp focus just how pathologically insane the world of big business has become. Also just how immersed governments have become in holding hands with these corporate despots and jointly paving the way to a post Orwellian ‘New World Order’.

Pentagon Prepping for ‘Large Scale Economic Breakdown’

the Pentagon and agencies like the Department of Defense and DHS are in full scale emergency readiness in their own words for ‘cataclysmic’ events that are believed to ultimately ignite riots in the face of chaos and economic collapse, and it’s all out in the open. And it’s one of the reasons that we’re seeing such a massive amount of spying on activists of all kinds, alternative news writers and personalities, and basically anyone preparing for themselves.

The US government is dedicated to logging such information into a major database in order to ‘prepare’ for the coming collapse that they are predicting in their own documents for all to see. Collapse predictions that have turned into ‘war games’ ran by the Pentagon, in 2010 were orchestrated to prepare for what the Pentagon dubbed ‘large scale economic breakdown’ and the disappearance of essential services like food.In these same ‘war games’ exercise dedicated to domestic response, exercises were ran in order to prepare for ‘domestic order amid civil unrest’.

What does this mean exactly, to engage in the activity necessary to quell large-scale civil disturbances? Well, for one it is the blank check ability to go ahead and stop major protests amid domestic turmoil. The kind of protests we’re seeing around the world, from Egypt to Brazil. The kind of protests where citizens have had enough.
