What Is DARPA Planning With The W.E.F ?

Original article by Marie Hawthorne

In 2013, President Obama awarded $100 million in grant money to launch the BRAIN (Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies) Initiative. This program conducts neurotechnological research in the name of treating various neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s, epilepsy, and brain injuries. By 2016, the BRAIN Initiative was supported by multiple federal agencies and dozens of partners in the academic and private sectors. Some of the research sounds fascinating. They have been investigating ways to deliver naturalistic sensations to amputees, as well as restoring brain function in people that have suffered severe brain trauma. I can see this being a godsend to people with severe injuries or amputations.

Enter DARPA

DARPA’s research involves treating brain networks. The Systems Based Neurotechnology for Emerging Therapies (SUBNETS) program involves therapies that treat psychiatric illness by recording and analyzing brain activity with near-real-time brain stimulation to correct brain dysfunction. This research, begun under Obama’s BRAIN Initiative almost ten years ago, has translated into some real-world success stories. Some people have indeed experienced real relief from the symptoms of severe depression with targeted brain stimulation. DARPA’s research has made progress manipulating brain function via surgically implanted electrodes. They are also researching non-surgical methods to do the same.

What are the risks here of the DARPA BRAIN Initiative?

When we open up channels between human brains and electronic devices, we create new pathways of communication. In his 1928 book Propaganda, Edward Bernays states, “There is no means of communication which may not also be a means of deliberate propaganda.” Every time we open up new avenues of communication, we also open up new ways to be manipulated. The technology toward brain-digital interfacing has progressed a long way. And we have the same argument that comes along with every burst of new technology.

Do the risks outweigh the gains? Most of the time, we say no.

But let’s think about the internet.

The internet created a revolution in communications, the like of which we have not seen since the invention of the printing press. And are we not subjected to more propaganda than ever? Does it not take more and more effort to sift the truth from the half-truths and the outright lies?

This is widely recognized, though I think we’re heading in the wrong direction. Look at Biden’s newest creation, the Disinformation Governance Board. Ostensibly created to crack down on Russian misinformation and smuggling on the U.S.-Mexico border, the DGB will ultimately stifle dissent.

It would be naïve in the extreme to think that none of this research by DARPA could be used for nefarious purposes. DARPA only discusses the peaceful, medical aspects of their neuroscientific research. But a funny thing turned up in a FOIA request back in 2018.

A journalist for Muckrock magazine sent in a FOIA request regarding Antifa/BLM activity. Along with the information he requested, another file was accidentally slipped in with everything else.

The Muckrock journalist was shocked by his accidental find, to say the least, and they published this back in 2018.   It’s unclear how much progress has been made in weaponizing the human-digital interface, but people are thinking about it, and it looks like they have been for a long time. Now, DARPA may be full of the most selfless public servants dedicated to nothing but the safety and well-being of the American people. But a funny thing about technology is that it has a way of escaping, and there are plenty of groups out there who emphatically do not have the well-being of the American people in mind. I can imagine they are pretty interested in brain mapping and manipulation too.

One man in particular who regularly speaks of humans as machines to be “hacked” is Dr. Yuval Harari.

He took part in a roundtable discussion on Hacking Humans hosted by the (EPFL).

The thought of this man, or anyone with his mindset, having control over other humans is disturbing in the extreme. Dr. Harari believes in the inherent superiority of algorithms. He insists humans kill everything around them and that the majority are only capable of thinking in the short term. To have any life left at all, we must rely on algorithms to make decisions for us. Dr. Harari says that humans have never been as free as we thought and that the concept of freedom is mostly just a collection of bio-cultural factors. He goes on to say that people with a firm sense of their own free will are dangerous but easy to manipulate.

Dr. Harari works with the World Economic Forum and so, unfortunately, does DARPA.

While DARPA claims to work primarily with the interests of the United States at heart, what happens to their $3.8 billion per year budget tells another story. You can go down a real rabbit hole trying to find every last detail about where their money goes, but for the purposes of this article, it should suffice to say that they direct a great deal of money to the same bioengineering firms as the WEF. If DARPA knows how to do something, it’s safe to assume that the control fiends at the WEF will soon know it, too.

Commercial brain-computer interface approved for human trials

Clinical trials of the first commercial Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) system, developed by Synchron, have started in the United States. If the trials are deemed successful, the system could be used everywhere, and patients with paralysis could once again be in contact with the outside world.

At the initial stage, the Stentrode system (The prototype of which was Developed in 2016 by a DARPA funded research team)is tasked with confirming its safety, as well as the ability to effectively work with digital devices without the help of hands. Synchron Inc, the company that developed the system, is thus ahead of its well-known competitor in the face of Elon Musk’s Neuralink, which receives more funding, but has not yet fully formed the staff. Last year, Neuralink raised $205 million, while Synchron only raised $70 million (Not mentioned is the Backing of DARPA to the tune of 10 million$).

When implanted, Stentrode electrodes travel through the blood vessels to the brain (in Neuralink they are implanted directly into the skull), and the system begins to translate brain activity into electrical signals, allowing you to work with text messages, email, online shopping or other relatively simple tasks.

So far, Synchron said, such projects have received only permits for short-term series of experiments in the laboratory. However, if the new series of trials is successful, the program will be expanded to allow patients to use the systems on a long-term basis. The next step on the path toward approval would be a wider trial to test for efficacy. If the trials succeed, it will likely be several years before the Stentrode is available for sale.

Nueralink nears human testing of brain chip

Neuralink, the US neurotechnology firm co-founded by billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, has begun recruiting key employees to run its clinical trials, signaling that it’s inching closer to starting human testing of its brain implants.

The company has posted advertisements to hire a clinical trial director and a clinical trial coordinator. The ads note that the staffers will “work closely with some of the most innovative doctors and top engineers, as well as working with Neuralink’s first clinical trial participants.” Neuralink said the director will lead and help build its clinical research team and will develop “regulatory interactions that come with a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.”

Neuralink has already tested its chips in the brains of a macaque monkey and a pig. The company raised eyebrows last April, when it posted footage purporting to show a monkey playing a video game with its mind.

The first human test subjects will be people with severe spinal injuries, such as quadriplegics, Musk said at the Wall Street Journal CEO Council summit. “We have a chance with Neuralink to restore full-body functionality to someone who has a spinal cord injury,” he said.

Pentagon “Mind control” Technology coming to future “warfighter’s”

“While these capabilities might fuel conspiracy theories about government mind-reading and mind-control,that won’t be the case”.

Huh,I enjoy that they had to drop the “conspiracy theory” angle in to this article. It is true that DARPA has been at work on cybernetics and Brain/machine interfaces for quite some time. And while there is no well defined “conspiracy theory” on implementing this technology within the defense dept,if you’ve done the research and look at the trends, there is no denying that there is a well coordinated agenda to implement cybernetics and of course the Military is the leading edge of this research. It is just more prevalent and visible now. While this isn’t “Mind control” technology in the MK-ultra(behavior modification) sense, one could make the argument that this is obviously where (Real)”Super Soldier” Transhumanism research is happening.

The idea of humans controlling machines with their minds has spun off sci-fi blockbusters like “Pacific Rim” and entire subgenres of foreign film, but while today skyscraper-sized fighting robots exist only on the big screen, the Pentagon is building technology that could one day make them a reality.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is selecting teams to develop a “neural interface” that would both allow troops to connect to military systems using their brainwaves and let those systems transmit back information directly to users’ brains.

The Next-Generation Non-Surgical Neurotechnology, or N3, program aims to combine the speed and processing power of computers with humans’ ability to adapt to complex situations, DARPA said. In other words, the technology would let people control, feel and interact with a remote machine as though it were a part of their own body.

DARPA began studying interactions between humans and machines in the 1960s, and while technology that merges the two may sound far-fetched, the organization already proved it’s possible.

The N3 program is divided into two tracks: non-invasive interfaces that sit completely outside the body, and minutely invasive interfaces that could require users to ingest different chemical compounds to help external sensors read their brain activity. The program is solely focused on designing an interface for humans to connect with technology, not the technology itself, but according to Emondi, the use cases will likely be more high stakes than controlling prosthetic limbs.

Participating teams will have four years to create a working neural interface. DARPA declined to comment on the project’s funding levels. (womp-womp,how convient...)

DARPA spending millions on voice recognition surveillance

voiceprint

Yet another piece in the Big Brother/ Total Surveillance state plan is in the works. Biometric surveillance, Facial Recognition surveillance cameras,”The internet of things”/Smart surveillance objects and now Audio/Voice recognition surveillance. Would We be wrong in assuming that a total surveillance system were being developed by DARPA and others?

Between 2015 and 2017, the Pentagon will have the ability to decipher human voices in surveillance audio even if background noise makes the covertly recorded conversations inaudible. This may bring to mind the surveillance audio secretly recorded through our smartphones when they are in our pockets. On or off, we know now that our conversations are being recorded by a wide array of electronic devices, and our conversations we used to consider private are actually being stored in data collection facilities like the one in Utah aptly titled the ‘Utah Data Center’.

Newly released documents from DARPA show that they are in the third phase of their ‘RATS’ program (Robust Automatic Transcription of Speech). This information indicates that they are going to great lengths to make sure that secretly recorded conversations can be analyzed by the government.

According to a USA Today article “DARPA has spent $13 million on RATS. It now wants to spend another $2.4 million, contract records show, to make the final push to make the system operational by the Air Force as early as this year but by 2017. Other agencies, particularly those in the intelligence community, will also use the system once it’s operational.”

The program also seeks to recognize different languages, and filter surveillance audio by recognizing keywords. This may also imply that people in other countries will be targeted. The US government was also caught hacking into billions of SIM cards recently. An important question to ask would be, how will they actually put this to use?

Will the government try to start prosecuting people in legal cases with the data collected with the surveillance grid being covertly imposed around us? Perhaps it should be phrased, when will they start using this surveillance data to incarcerate people?

We are surely all aware of the fact that smartphones, certain TV’s, and a wide variety of other devices are actually functioning microphones in a surveillance grid being set up that is apparently a high enough priority to the powers that be to be worth millions of dollars in funding.

So we all know this is happening, but why? Where is this going, how far will they go in analyzing this data and how will they utilize is to prosecute and target people who oppose the interests of the US government and their allies?

DARPA’s Human Experiments: Creation of Transhuman Soldiers

Supersoldier

(DARPA) has a $2 billion yearly budget for research into creating a super solider as well as developing a synthetic police force. Working with the human genome, DARPA hopes to manipulate certain gene expressions. In experimentation, DARPA and the military industrial pharmaceutical complex are using natural abilities that are enhanced through genetic engineering. The US military’s future technology division is reportedly eyeing tampering with soldiers’ genes, allowing them to go for days without food or sleep and re-grow limbs lost in battle or due to landmines.

Scientists at DARPA hope to find a way to affect certain genes, researching the construction of soldiers that feel no pain, terror and do not suffer from fatigue. Researching a drug that can make people go for hours without sleep and stay alert.Tests on the wiring of the human brain are furthered by Jonathan Moreno, professor of bioethics at Pennsylvania State University. Moreno is working with the DoD in understanding neuroscience. The Pentagon allocated $400 million to this research. DARPA is learning how to genetically modify human fat into pure energy by rewiring the metabolic switch which would create soldiers that require less food. By using gene therapy and combining enhancements to alter the color of the human eye is a blending of mutations that have no basis in the natural world.

Roger Pitman , professor of psychiatry at Harvard University is experimenting with propranolol which is a beta blocker that is believed to erase “terrifying memories”, soldiers are subjected to more research while serving to alleviate the psychological effects of war. Moreno explains: “The problem is: what else are they blocking when they do this? Do we want a generation of veterans who return without guilt?”

“DARPA Wants to Install Transcranial Ultrasonic Mind Control Devices in Soldiers’ Helmets”

Military-BrainControl

Standard Issue Mind Control – DARPA wants ultrasound-enhanced helmets that allow soldiers to stimulate certain regions of their brains.

DARPA has been trying to crawl inside the minds of soldiers for a while now, but a new ultrasound technology could let them get deeper inside than ever. Working under a DARPA grant, a researcher at Arizona State is developing transcranial pulsed ultrasound technology that could be implanted in troops’ battle helmets, allowing soldiers to manipulate brain functions to boost alertness, relieve stress, or even reduce the effects of traumatic brain injury.

Manipulating the brain to enhance warfighting capabilities and maintain mental acuity on the battlefield has long been a topic of interest for DARPA and various military research labs.

Dr. William J. Tyler, an assistant professor of life sciences at ASU, writes on the DoD’s “Armed With Science” blog: “To overcome the above limitations, my laboratory has engineered a novel technology which implements transcranial pulsed ultrasound to remotely and directly stimulate brain circuits without requiring surgery.

Tyler’s technology, packaged in a warfighter’s helmet,(This is basically the next advancement of the Obedience Helmet) would allow soldiers to flip a switch to stimulate different regions of their brains, helping them relieve battle stress when it’s time to get some rest, or to boost alertness during long periods without sleep.

DARPA looks for a guided bullet

smartbullet

Once again leave it to DARPA to be the greatest developer of new high tech ways to kill people, because the US Govt’s stockpiles of ammuniton aren’t good enough, now they need “Smart” bullets

DARPA is looking again at the Global Positioning System in a bid to reinvent the tech which used to be cutting edge military gear but these days is tracking dogs and finding golf balls.

DARPA’s director Arati Prabhakar has announced that GPS is past its prime, and that DARPA will set out to create an alternative, or complementary, technology designed to be small enough to fit inside small-calibre ammunition.

DARPA has long had aspirations toward a guided sniper bullet, though the intriguing EXACTO project has thus far seem to focus more on a heavy .50-cal projectile to be guided smartbomb-style by a laser dot.

There is, of course, another alternative: the use of the plethora of radio signals in which we are constantly swathed. If one knows the location of every TV, radio and cellular transmitter then a multi-frequency radio could enable triangulation

DARPA Building Robots With ‘Real’ Brains

Compbrain

The next frontier for the robotics industry is to build machines that think like humans. Scientists have pursued that elusive goal for decades, and they believe they are now just inches away from the finish line.A Pentagon-funded team of researchers has constructed a tiny machine that would allow robots to act independently. Unlike traditional artificial intelligence systems that rely on conventional computer programming, this one “looks and ‘thinks’ like a human brain,” said James K. Gimzewski, professor of chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Gimsewski is a member of the team that has been working under sponsorship of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency on a program called “physical intelligence.” This technology could be the secret to making robots that are truly autonomous. This project does not use standard robot hardware with integrated circuitry, he said. The device that his team constructed is capable, without being programmed like a traditional robot, of performing actions similar to humans.

What sets this new device apart from any others is that it has nano-scale interconnected wires that perform billions of connections like a human brain, and is capable of remembering information,Each connection is a synthetic synapse. A synapse is what allows a neuron to pass an electric or chemical signal to another cell. Because its structure is so complex, most artificial intelligence projects so far have been unable to replicate it.

A “physical intelligence” device would not require a human controller the way a robot does, said Gimzewski. The applications of this technology for the military would be far reaching.

* (Once again the cutting edge of technology, is in the hands of the Military/Corporate Industrial complex. Artificial Intelligence and Robotics are the biggest developments of the 21st century, and it is being developed and funded by interests that have an agenda for global domination.)

Pentagon plans for telepathic troops , could be in the field within five years.

pentaremote-viewing

The U.S. Army is dedicating millions of research dollars into discovering building helmets to allow soldiers to telepathically communicate with one another on the battlefield. The technology, which seems like something out of a science fiction novel, would use electrodes to pick up code words that soldiers were thinking. ( Hmm do you mean something like this Helmet)

Those codewords would then be transmitted back to a computer where the soldier’s position and message- telling, for instance, that it is safe to progress towards a target- which would be transmitted to their peers in the field.

Based largely out of University of California-Irvine, in conjunction with labs in Philadelphia and Maryland, scientists are trying to improve so-called ‘synthetic telepathy’ so that it could be used in a battlefield. At this point, they have set their sights on 2017 as the year when their plan may turn into silent action.
So far, 45 per cent of the commands that are transmitted from one volunteer to another- like ‘call in helicopter’ or ‘enemy ahead’- are correct. That statistic is expected to improve.

*Rumors* that army intelligence was determined to use mind control technology to their advantage have been milling around for decades.

*Those “Rumors” are actually well documented evidence of Mind Control programs(MKULTRA), and technology (such as Brain implanted Electrodes, and Bio-Telemetry)

Future enemy: Pentagon developing humanoid Terminator robots

Petman-Robot-Test-Scary

*(The below is not my exact opinion, but pretty close. The fact that this technology is in development tells me one thing, that it will be used exclusively for Military purposes. Given the track record of the world most powerful military, I’m going to say that this wont exactly help humanity. All of this converges at a strange crossroads of NWO philosophies, Perpetual Warfare( War on Terror, War on Drugs etc), and Transhumanism.)

The Pentagon wants to develop and deploy a robotic army of autonomous soldiers that(possibly) will kill without hesitation. It’s only a matter of time before these robots are armed with rifles, grenade launchers and more. Their target acquisition systems can be a hybrid combination of both thermal and night vision technologies, allowing them to see humans at night and even detect heat signatures through building walls.

At first, these robots will be deployed as soldier assistants, carrying gear, retrieving wounded soldiers from hot zones, and so on. But over time, the roles will be reversed: Robotic soldiers will serve on the front lines while humans only serve support roles to keep the robots running. Such a transition will take decades, of course, but it’s coming.

What happens when the robots become self-aware?
A more apocalyptic scenario unfolds when the machines are taught to build self-replicating factories that one day gain enough intelligence to decide that humans are no longer needed. This is the scenario described in the movie “Terminator,” where Skynet launches nuclear missiles in an attempt to destroy humanity.

Not coincidentally, an emerging technology of “cooperative drones” that allows small aircraft to carry heavy objects in flight is also being called “Skynet.”
