Surveillance and Assassination Now down to the Micro (soon to be Nanotech) level. How Cute!!

The U.S. Air Force is developing tiny unmanned drones that will fly in swarms, hover like bees, crawl like spiders and even sneak up on unsuspecting targets and execute them with lethal precision.

The Air Vehicles Directorate, a research arm of the Air Force, has released a computer-animated video outlining the the future capabilities of Micro Air Vehicles (MAVs). The project promises to revolutionize war by down-sizing the combatants.

Air Force officials said they have already produced tiny remote-control prototypes – but they consume so much power that can only operate for a few minutes. The military has already produced a drone patterned after a hawk moth that can flap its wings 30 times a second.

The drones will work in concert to patch together a wide, detailed view of the battlefield – singling out individual targets without losing sight of the broader scene. The drones fly – not like planes, but like insects. High frequency flapping wings allow the drones to hover and maneuver in tight spaces. The Air Force is working on technology that will allow the drones to steal electricity from power cables and other sources – so they can continue to operate for days or weeks on end.

Scientists Want Military to Close the ‘Mutant Gap’ With Biomodded Soldiers

Greater strength and endurance. Enhanced thinking. Better teamwork. New classes of genetic weaponry, able to subvert DNA. Not long from now, the technology could exist to routinely enhance — and undermine — people’s minds and bodies using a wide range of chemical, neurological, genetic and behavioral techniques.

It’s warfare waged at the evolutionary level. And it’s coming sooner than many people think. According to the futurists at the U.S. National Intelligence Council, by 2030, “neuro-enhancements could provide superior memory recall or speed of thought. Brain-machine interfaces could provide ‘superhuman‘ abilities, enhancing strength and speed, as well as providing functions not previously available.”

Qualities that today must be honed by years of training and education could be installed in a relative instant by, say, an injection or a targeted burst of electricity to the brain. Rapid advancements in neurology, pharmacology and genetics could soon make such installations fairly easy.

These modifications could give rise to new breeds of biologically enhanced troops possessing what one expert in the field calls “mutant powers.”

Ten years ago, there were all sorts of biomods enthusiasts roaming the halls of the Pentagon’s premiere science division. In 2002 the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency launched an ambitious effort aimed at tweaking troops’ physiology to reduce their susceptibility to stress, sleep deprivation, fatigue, pain and blood loss while enhancing their memory and learning. The idea was to help soldiers “perform at their peak, stay at their peak,” one former Darpa official told Wired.

The program was called Metabolic Dominance. It promised to produce America’s first mutant warriors

Nanotech ‘battle suits’ could amplify soldiers’ powers

On the other spectrum of advancing technology, it’s obvious that once again this will most likely be developed and put into use first by the Military.

As hollow-eyed troops laden with 75-pound packs slogged through a downpour before shipping out to Kuwait, nine MIT professors watching them in the rural Louisiana training field were asking questions like: How could those loads be made lighter?

And what about making the soldiers impervious to infection? Invulnerable to bullets? Able to leap small buildings in a single bound?

For these self-described “crazy MIT guys,” those questions are not wild geek imaginings inspired by some superhero comic. It’s their job.

The professors who visited the Fort Polk training center in January are at the vanguard of a military initiative to harness the potential of the emerging field of nanotechnology. Its object is to make U.S. forces vastly more mobile, more flexible, and more invincible.

Nanotechnology, the art of precisely controlling the molecular composition of materials down to the level of a few nanometers, or billionths of a meter, is expected to yield products with unprecedented properties and power. Consumers may already be aware of a few commercial nanotech products

The MIT group is experimenting with nanotech fibers and patches that could one day trap bioweapon germs on the outer surface of a uniform, capture the energy of the sun, transmit signals on the medical condition of troops, or even confer superhuman strength.

Although the military is carrying out research on other nanotechnology applications, such as durable coatings for navy ships, the MIT institute focuses on the equipment of the individual, dismounted soldier who needs to be as light and self-sufficient as possible.

Thomas said a future “battle suit” could be more like a car than mere camouflage-and-khaki clothing — with options like radio communication, heating and air conditioning, bulletproof shields and bionic-man-like tools built in.

You think GMO is scary? Nanotech is here in your stores

Anne Gordon, RN
Nanotechnology is measured in billionths of a meter, encompassing all aspects of life from food to medicine, clothing, to space. Imagine hundreds of microcomputers on the width of a strand of hair programmed for specific tasks….in your body. Sound good?

Engineering at a molecular level may be a future corporations’ dream come true, however, nano-particles inside your body have few long-term studies especially when linked to health issues. Despite this new huge income-generating field there is a growing body of toxicological information suggesting that nanotechnology when consumed can cause brain damage (as shown in largemouth bass), and therefore should undergo a full safety assessment.

It is possible for nano-particles to slip through the skin, suggestive of a potential unnatural interaction with the immune system, or when micro particles enter the blood-stream. Some sunscreens on the shelf today, for instance, have nano-particles that might be able to penetrate the skin, move between organs, with unknown health effects. Nano-particles in cosmetics have few regulations done by FDA.

t is clear that nanotechnology is already in the in some food and cosmetics, (including anti aging products and sunscreens). ‘Smart’ packaging and tracking, is ubiquitous. Invisible, (to the naked eye and some microscopes), edible nano-wrappers, complete with bar codes can track not only early spoilage, but improve the taste of food, or, whatever is called food. Manufacturers are excited because the availability of food would no longer be affected by limited resources, bad crop weather, water problems, etc. A modern way to feed the world.

Oh, don’t expect an informative label on nano-particles in your products. Although marketers are thrilled to present benefits to make wrinkles vanish, or illuminate skin flawlessly, there are health and unknown downsides.

US Develops Robot Mosquito Spy Drones.

Reports indicate that the US military has poured huge sums of money into surveillance drone miniaturization and is developing micro aircraft which now come in a swarm of bug-sized flying spies.

a team of researchers at the Johns Hopkins University in conjunction with the US Air Force Office of Scientific Research at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Arlington, Virginia, is helping develop what they are calling a micro aerial vehicle (MAV) that will undertake various espionage tasks.

The robotic insect can effortlessly infiltrate urban areas, where dense concentrations of buildings and people, along with unpredictable winds and other obstacles make it impractical.

It can be controlled from a great distance and is equipped with a camera and a built-in microphone.

The new device has the capability to land precisely on human skin, use its super-micron sized needle to take DNA samples and fly off again at speed. All people feel is the pain of a mosquito bite without the burning sensation and the swelling of course.

The hard-to-detect surveillance drone can also inject a micro radio frequency identification (RFID) tracking device right under skin, and can be used to inject toxins into enemies during wars.

As early as in 2007, the US government was accused of secretly developing robotic insect spies when anti-war protesters in the United States saw some flying objects similar to dragonflies or little helicopters hovering above them.

The US is not alone in miniaturizing drones that imitate nature: France, the Netherlands and Israel are also developing similar devices.

Of course similiar news has been covered hereAnd just to prove my point, Mainstream Media Article here. Orwell’s vision of the “1984” totalitarian spying system was nothing compared to what’s really in development. and the only way that this technology will be used against you is if you allow it, you have the info here. Don’t say you did’nt know

Nano Technology Mind Control

Mind Control is not Science Fiction anymore. It is an established fact. And the U.S. is one of it’s biggest proponents, there is a traceable history of social manipulation
(I.E.Edward Bernay’s: Propaganda). And direct mind control experiments (MK Ultra).

You think once this was discovered back in the 70’s they would have just given up on this…NO WAY! once you can manipulate and control the human mind itself your power is unlimited.

The infographic below, of the United States Future Force Warrior program is an example of government funding towards the future soldier today:

Is’nt this great? Don’t you feel even more safe in “the land of the free”. Knowing that your military is being transformed into armies of Nanotechnology augmented, cyborg soldiers.

And you thought this was all science fiction…..
