French and German Intelligence Services Knew Paris Attack Was Coming a Month Ago

Startling information has just surfaced that indicates French National Police met with German BKA federal police and German BND federal intelligence service to discuss an imminent pre-planned terrorist attack on Paris weeks ago.

Industrial targets were already being probed by suspected terrorists in France, and a bomb which failed to detonate was found in one facility. The explosives employed were those stolen in a little-publicized theft from a French military armory months prior. The French and German federal police and intelligence services strongly believed at that time that terrorists were casing soft targets inside Paris and that it was, “A matter of when, not if.” The only point of contention within the French security services was whether or not the target would be soft (civilian) or hard (military, government, industrial) in nature

West Point Professor Calls for Military Strikes on Journalists Critical of War on Terror

Professor William C. Bradford, assistant professor from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point recently declared that professionals critical of the “War on Terror” constitute a “treasonous” opposition that should be subject to military force.

He believes the U.S. should have the right to attack people who are critical of U.S. military operations — specifically, professionals, legal scholars, journalists, and other people effectively spreading ideas that oppose war.

Using the excuse that victims would be “lawful targets,” Bradford argues that “law school facilities, scholars’ home offices and media outlets where they give interviews” should be targeted with military force to suppress dissent. He asserted that the war on terror should be expanded, “even if it means great destruction, innumerable enemy casualties, and civilian collateral damage.”

Ironically, Bradford has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Harvard University with a focus in Human Rights Law.
This is a man who is apparently incorporating his violent philosophy into his teaching at West Point. He started on August 1st 2015 — after he published his article.

This is only the tip of the iceberg in forming a complete understanding of the ideological fabric held by many of the war hawks in U.S. Military.

US Govt Wants to Increase Global Drone Flights to 30,000 by 2019

The Pentagon announced plans this week to dramatically ramp up global drone operations over the next four years.
Daily drone flights will increase by 50% during this time, and will include lethal air strikes and surveillance missions to deal with the increase in global hot spots and crises, according to an unnamed (and unverified) senior defense official, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

Capacity for lethal airstrikes — despite the U.S.’ existent infamous reputation in its massive current program — will increase still further through a joint effort by the Air Force, Army, and Special Operations Command. Ironically, this news comes on the heels of a report that — because of what amounts to sibling rivalry — around $500 million has been wasted in attempts to bring the Air Force and Army into a combined drone purchasing program of the same Predator drones whose flights are now to be increased.

According to the unnamed official, intelligence surveillance and collection will be broadened in Iraq, Syria, Ukraine, North Africa, and the South China Sea, among other locations.
Overall, daily drone flights have exponentially increased over the past decade — from about five in 2004 to 61 today, and a goal of around 90 by 2019. That would amount to 32,850 a year if the goal is met. The latest expansion is the largest since 2011.

Part of the reason for expansion is the current use of military drone flights on behalf of the CIA — as many as 22 of the 61 daily flights are committed to CIA surveillance missions. Using military personnel, the agency essentially directs the missions and benefits from the surveillance, and though the military can use the agency’s information, it isn’t in command of those flights and thus loses that capacity while they are deployed that way.

Nearly 5,500 people have been killed in U.S. drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and Afghanistan, alone — of which nearly 1,100 were civilian casualties, including over 200 children, according to the Bureau for Investigative Journalism. Now, there is no way to avoid an increase in the number of civilians who pay with their lives for being in the wrong place when the U.S. feels the need to carry out more strikes.

Sen. Lindsey Graham to Congress: ‘Let’s Just Blow Up Iran’

Is this a signal that Iran was the goal of Syrian intervention all along? Senator Graham has been warning that if we don’t bomb Syria, it will lead to war with Iran within six months.The Republican Senator from South Carolina announced on Saturday that he is going to officially approach Congress to seek military authorization for a strike on Iran to destroy the nation’s nuclear program.

As Reported: Graham’s language is clear:

“Graham, speaking on Gov. Mike Huckabee’s Fox News program, said the move will work to make sure we send ‘a clear signal that this debacle called Syria doesn’t mean we’re confused about Iran.’”

Graham has a long history of warmongering, especially when it comes to Iran. Back in 2010 at an AIPAC meeting, the Senator told the pro-Israel lobby that, “The Congress has your back” and Israel is “our best friend in the world.” He went on to say “all options must be on the table” and “you know exactly what I’m talking about” when it comes to potentially bombing Iran.

In addition, Graham’s top campaign contributors include Boeing and General Electric — key military-industrial complex players that would profit heavily off any war. Likewise, the Senator has shown his readiness to abandon the Constitution and Bill of Rights, particularly under the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), to strip suspects of due process rights in the name of the neverending War on Terror

Syria: Target of International Bankers

In an August 2013 article titled “ Larry Summers and the Secret ‘End-game’ Memo,” Greg Palast posted evidence of a secret late-1990s plan devised by Wall Street and U.S. Treasury officials to open banking to the lucrative derivatives business. To pull this off required the relaxation of banking regulations not just in the US but globally. The vehicle to be used was the Financial Services Agreement of the World Trade Organization.

The “end-game” would require not just coercing support among WTO members but taking down those countries refusing to join. Some key countries remained holdouts from the WTO, including Iraq, Libya, Iran and Syria.

In these Islamic countries, banks are largely state-owned; and “usury” – charging rent for the “use” of money – is viewed as a sin, if not a crime. That puts them at odds with the Western model of rent extraction by private middlemen. Publicly-owned banks are also a threat to the mushrooming derivatives business, since governments with their own banks don’t need interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, or investment-grade ratings by private rating agencies in order to finance their operations.

Forty percent of banks globally are publicly-owned. They are largely in the BRIC countries—Brazil, Russia, India and China which house forty percent of the global population. They also escaped the 2008 credit crisis, but they at least made a show of conforming to Western banking rules. This was not true of the “rogue” Islamic nations, where usury was forbidden by Islamic teaching. To make the world safe for usury, these rogue states had to be silenced by other means. Having failed to succumb to economic coercion, they wound up in the crosshairs of the powerful US military.

Is it a coincidence that these countries were named by U.S. General Wesley Clark (Ret.) in a 2007 “Democracy Now” interview as the new “rogue states” being targeted for take down after September 11, 2001? He said that about 10 days after 9-11, he was told by a general that the decision had been made to go to war with Iraq. Later, the same general said they planned to take out seven countries in five years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Iran.

Brzezinski: ‘Global Political Awakening’ Making Syrian War Difficult

During a short interview with Germany’s DW News last Monday, former US National Security Adviser and Trilateral Commission co-founder Zbigniew Brzezinski commented on the growing inefficiency of war due to the increased political knowledge of the public.

“Given the contemporary reality of what I have called in my writings ‘Global Political Awakening,’ a policy of force based primarily on Western and in some cases former colonial powers does not seem to me a very promising avenue to an eventual solution to the regional problem,” said Brzezinski, referring to the situation in Syria.

Despite Brzezinski’s noted long-term relationship with Obama which included a top foreign policy adviser position, Brzezinski denied any specific knowledge of his plans regarding Syria, saying that if the administration has a strategy, it’s a “very well-kept secret.” Although Brzezinski at times attempts to appear opposed to military interventionism, President Obama’s actions in Syria, which include the support of admitted Al Qaeda fighters, closely mirrors several of Brzezinski’s previous policies, most notably the opposition to the Soviet Union in 1979, where decisions made by Brzezinski led to the creation of Al Qaeda through the CIA funding of the Afghan Mujaheddin.

Brzezinski’s call of warning to the “global political awakening” has only intensified in recent years. Last year during a speech in Poland, Brzezinski noted that “it has become increasingly difficult to suppress” and control the “persistent and highly motivated populist resistance of politically awakened and historically resentful peoples.”.

Chemical Warfare in Syria – Staged to Incriminate the Regime and Create the Pretext for U.S. Military Action?

Days after evidence of a chemical attack in Syria was exposed to the world, foreign governments have been beating their war-drums and taking steps toward military intervention to topple the Syrian government, leaving critics to wonder if the al-Assad regime was truly responsible for the attacks.

Reporters for the French publication Le Monde described the experience of being gassed with an unknown type of chemical weapon. The weapons were allegedly used by Syrian government forces against rebel troops, with repeated attacks taking place right outside Damascus during April and May of this year. The attacks were carried out with a startling degree of accuracy and effectiveness, the colorless and odorless agent delivered mysteriously via an aerosol canister.

A much clearer picture of the scope and detail of the chemicals effects was provided this week by a Medecines Sans Frontiers (MSF) / Doctors Without Borders press release, which reports treating “…approximately 3,600 patients displaying neurotoxic symptoms in less than three hours on the morning of Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Of those patients, 355 reportedly died.”

A common sense check should make it clear that Syria doesn’t have the capability or desire to execute chemical attacks on it’s own people. Reports of the chemical’s effects sound similar to Tabun, a nerve agent developed by the Germans during WWII. The U.S. had a Tabun program “decades ago” which was ostensibly cancelled. Tabun is the agent allegedly used by Hussein against the Kurds, and a recent article reveals the CIA helped him do it

It should also be noted that a majority of the Syrian “rebel” opposition is funded and armed by the C.I.A and other western intelligence agencies. As well as having access to chemical weapons, and a stated intent to use them and blame the Syrian regime .

Why would Bashar Al-Assad risk regime suicide by attacking his own people with chemical weapons, knowing full well that the United States would use any such attack as an excuse for military adventurism? Wouldn’t any leader have to be certifiably insane to use chemical weapons on his own capitol city?

A current Reuters article makes the economics of this conflict clear. Syria is a net importer of oil products, but because of US sanctions the Syrians are forced to deal with Iran and Russia in order to fill their domestic needs. This puts them on the “black” oil market, at odds with the intentions of those who back the U.S. petro dollar.
