Global Government and Mass Surveillance To the Rescue

In an Early 2019 blog post ,Independent journalist Dagny Taggart wrote the following article concerning the future development of Artificial Intelligence (AI)surveillance and the push for for global governance.

A prominent Oxford philosopher who is known for making terrifying predictions about humanity has a new theory about our future, and it isn’t pretty.Over 15 years ago, Nick Bostrom,(A prominent Transhumanist) author of Superintelligence: Paths, Dangers, Strategies, made the case that we are all living in a Matrix-like computer simulation run by another civilization.

Will humanity eventually be destroyed by one of its own creations?

If you find the idea of living in a computer simulation that is run by unknown beings troubling, wait until you hear Bostrom’s latest theory : “The Vulnerable World Hypothesis.” Bostrom took the stage at a TED conference in Vancouver, Canada, to share some of the insights  from his latest work. While speaking to head of the conference, Chris Anderson, Bostrom argued that mass surveillance could be one of the only ways to save humanity – from a technology of our own creation.

His theory starts with a metaphor of humans standing in front of a giant urn filled with balls that represent ideas. There are white balls (beneficial ideas), grey balls (moderately harmful ideas), and black balls (ideas that destroy civilization). The creation of the atomic bomb, for instance, was akin to a grey ball — a dangerous idea that didn’t result in our demise.

Bostrom posits that there may be only one black ball in the urn, but, once it is selected, it cannot be put back. (Humanity would be annihilated, after all.)

According to Bostrom, the only reason that we haven’t selected a black ball yet is because we’ve been “lucky.”

If scientific and technological research continues, we will eventually reach it and pull it out. Our civilization has a considerable ability to pick up balls, but no ability to put them back into the urn. We can invent but we cannot un-invent. Our strategy is to hope that there is no black ball.

If technological development continues then a set of capabilities will at some point be attained that make the devastation of civilization extremely likely, unless civilization sufficiently exits the semi-anarchic default condition

Bostrom believes the only thing that can save humanity is government.

Bostrom has proposed ways to prevent this from happening, and his ideas are horrifyingly dystopian:

The first would require stronger global governance which goes further than the current international system. This would enable states to agree to outlaw the use of the technology quickly enough to avert total catastrophe, because the international community could move faster than it has been able to in the past. Bostrom suggests in his paper that such a government could also retain nuclear weapons to protect against an outbreak or serious breach.

The second system is more dystopian, and would require significantly more surveillance than humans are used to. Bostrom describes a kind of “freedom tag,” fitted to everyone that transmits encrypted audio and video that spots signs of undesirable behavior. This would be necessary, he argues, future governance systems to preemptively intervene before a potentially history-altering crime is committed. The paper notes that if every tag cost $140, it would cost less than one percent of global gross domestic product to fit everyone with the tag and potentially avoid a species-ending event

These tags would feed information to “patriot monitoring stations,” or “freedom centers,” where artificial intelligence would monitor the data, bringing human “freedom officers” into the loop if signs of a black ball are detected.

Being monitored by artificial intelligence is a horrifying idea.

The idea of artificial intelligence monitoring human activity is particularly alarming, considering that we already know AI can develop prejudice and hate without our input and that robots have no sense of humor and might kill us over a joke. Many experts believe that AI will eventually outsmart humans, and the ultimate outcome will be the end of humanity. Bostrom acknowledged that the scenario could go horribly wrong, but he thinks the ends might justify the means:

Obviously, there are huge downsides and indeed massive risks to mass surveillance and global governance. On an individual level, we seem to be kind of doomed anyway.

I’m just pointing out that if we are lucky, the world could be such that these would be the only way you could survive a black ball.

So to summarize, according to our Global Governance Do-gooders,Humanity is ultimately irresponsible and unable to maintain freedom and security. So eventually when it comes to peace and the future survival of Humankind,Humans will need to forgoe their antiquated ideas of Freedom,Liberty and Independence. We will need to be lorded over by our Transhumanist /AI assisted global overlords.

Fast forward to 2021/22

In the wake of the Covid-19 Pandemic, (and every other virus outbreak since has somehow, become our new existential threat)the framework of a Global surveillance state has expanded even further with our current level of Mass surveillance and AI algorithms.

Cue the Biosecurity Hysteria if you will… Foreign Policy magazine

The only way were going to get ahead of this worldwide deadly (99.8% survival rate) virus, And every other endemic virus hereafter is to allow ourselves to be constantly surveilled, tracked, traced and compliant with the Biosecurity dictates of our government’s. Because you know..they’re just trying to keep us alive and “safe” guys…..

The growing Global surveillance network that watches our every move and tracks our everyday habits hasn’t DONE ENOUGH to provide us with Safety from our newest invisible enemy.

the Internet’s system of surveillance has been perfected beyond our imaginations (and usually beyond our acknowledgment). It now extends over email, social media, credit card payments, cell-phone use, and travel records. Every flight and hotel booking, every payment and bank transfer, every call, every picture can be brought together in a single platform and mined for interesting or unusual patterns.

Yet, while extending in every direction, this system was completely powerless to warn us about the coronavirus or to help us fight it. That is about to change—and our concept of personal privacy will have to change with it.

If only we could get past this pesky idea of anonymity, privacy and freedom of movement,we could beat you all……errr i mean this virus into submission:

If only governments used all the technology already available to them. Each case could then be treated according to individual parameters. Once a person has been confirmed to be infected, his or her close contacts could automatically be traced and instructed to get tested. Meanwhile, the infected person’s compliance with lockdown instructions could be tracked using digital tools that monitor individual travel and behavior patterns.

Of course, this would require governments accessing cell-phone users’ individual data—and eliminating the legal hurdles currently preventing them from doing so.

One obvious possibility as we slowly lift the physical restrictions now in place is to replace those blunt instruments with something more advanced and intelligent. Imagine a new coronavirus patient is detected. Once he or she tests positive, the government could use cell-phone data to trace everyone he or she has been in close proximity to, perhaps focusing on those people who were in contact for more than a few minutes. Everyone in that list would receive a message ordering them to immediately go into isolation. They would themselves be tested, and the process would start again.

Your cell-phone signal could then be used to enforce quarantine decisions. Leave your apartment and the authorities will know. Leave your phone behind and they will call you. Run the battery down and a police car will be at your door in a manner of minutes.

While the author of the article stop’s short of calling for an outright Totalitarian Bio-security regime,(he even manages to advocate for some small form of privacy) The hit’s keep coming with this statement of complete cognitive dissonance:

Privacy hawks may disagree, but a surveillance system can be a way to leave people alone. Properly designed, it consists of a kind of security perimeter—mostly virtual—within which life can go on undisturbed.

The future we have to look forward to if we want to remain protected from future pandemics,(or insert your favorite boogeyman…Rabid nationalist’s next???)is in pre-emptive action and monitoring. The author calls for a sort of Phillip. K. Dick Pre-crime version of Health surveillance:

In any event, we are only at the beginning. The real game is not to create the technology to monitor restrictive measures during an outbreak but to prevent it from happening in the first place. In two or three years, after the coronavirus threat has receded, the challenge will be to build the kind of system that can prevent future pandemics before they occur, just as the goal of an effective counterterrorism policy must be to stop potential attacks during the planning stage rather than to catch the culprits after they succeed.

And just to throw in a little flashback bit of fear mongering,For those of you who had the displeasure of living through the decade of a global war on terror (GWOT):

The chances that the system will not be gradually expanded to include biosecurity look very slim, not least because the coronavirus pandemic has already become immeasurably more devastating than any terrorist attack could hope to be.

Be afraid plebs..be very afriad. Because our Global overlords will see to it that we will always have some enemy to face, that requires the sacrifices of our physical and eventually mental freedom.

Digital Surveillance — the Real Motive Behind The Push to Vaccinate Kids.

Original Article by Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D.

COVID-19 may have caught much of the planet by surprise in late 2019 and early 2020, but much of the groundwork for the technology now widely used as a “response” to the pandemic was conceptualized and developed years prior.

In the U.S. and throughout the world, there has been a recent push to implement a variety of “vaccine passport” regimes, many of which rely on digital technologies such as mobile applications to carry a record of — so far, at least — one’s Covid-19 vaccination records.

These “tools” are presented by public officials and significant sections of the media in recent weeks and months as an inevitability of sorts, a technological progression as natural as breathing. They are also presented as a “new” response to an unprecedented crisis.

These technological applications are touted as a means of keeping businesses open and ensuring “peace of mind” for members of the public who remain wary about entering public spaces. But just how new is this “new” technology? And will the use of technology be limited to COVID vaccinations, or for purposes of “health?”

International ‘alliances’ backing the melding of ‘Big Tech’ and ‘Big Health’

t was the beginning of the preceding decade, January 2010, when Bill Gates, via the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, proclaimed “we must make this the decade of vaccines,” adding that “innovation will make it possible to save more children than ever before.”

In launching this so-called “Decade of Vaccines,” the Gates Foundation pledged $10 billion in funding. But Gates wasn’t the only actor behind this initiative.

For instance, the “Decade of Vaccines” program used a model originating from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to project the potential impact of vaccines on childhood deaths throughout the decade to come. And the announcement for the “Decade of Vaccines” initiative was made at that year’s annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

These same actors — the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the WEF — organized the now-notorious Event 201 pandemic simulation exercise, in October 2019, just before COVID entered our lives.

Prepping Future Generations for Mass Surveillance

As reported by investigative journalist Leo Hohmann:

“The Bill Gates’ Gavi Vaccine Alliance in 2018 published a paper on its INFUSE program that ought to be required reading for every parent of young children. Published more than a year before anyone had heard of Covid-19, the document explains why Fauci, Gates and the corrupt U.S. government are so intent on getting these “vaccines” into the bodies of younger and younger people.

The Gavi alliance, flush with $1.16 billion in taxpayer dollars is partnering with the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, the Gates Foundation and other globalist organizations to advocate for creating a registered, verifiable, digital ID for every child on the planet. This ID will be tied to each child’s vaccination status.

“Don’t be confused by the bit about ‘building a healthier and more prosperous future.’ That’s just window dressing. This is all about data collection and has nothing to do with health.

“The real purpose behind the historic, unprecedented push to vaccinate the very young, even against diseases like COVID that do not pose a threat to them, is to fold the current generation of children into the blossoming global digital identity system.”

Taking ‘health passports’ a step (or more) further: digital wallet regimes take shape

The U.S. House of Representatives on Nov. 30 passed H.R. 550, the Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2021.

If passed by Congress, this law would provide $400 million in funding to expand vaccine-tracking systems at the state and local level, enabling state health officials to monitor the vaccination status of American citizens and to provide this information to the federal government.

Meanwhile, several states, including New York (via its “Excelsior Pass”) and Connecticut introduced their own digital COVID vaccination certificate. New York went so far as to make a “blueprint” of its vaccine pass platform available, “as a guide to assist other states, territories, and entities in the expansion of compatible COVID-19 vaccine credential systems to advance economic development efforts nationwide.”

The rollout of digital platforms gives rise to questions about the safety of individuals’ data on these digital platforms, despite government reassurances to the contrary regarding privacy.

Moreover, it remains unclear how long “COVID passports,” whether in digital or paper form, will remain enforced, or if governments plan to make such a regime permanent.

Canada’s Mass surveillance tracked 33 million citizens during Covid lockdown’s

Original Article via : The National Post

The Public Health Agency of Canada(PHAC) accessed location data from 33 million mobile devices to monitor people’s movement during lockdown, the agency revealed this week. (That’s 3/4’s of Canada’s total population Btw)

“Due to the urgency of the pandemic, (PHAC) collected and used mobility data, such as cell-tower location data, throughout the COVID-19 response,” a spokesperson stated.

PHAC used the location data to evaluate the effectiveness of public lockdown measures and allow the Agency to “understand possible links between movement of populations within Canada and spread of COVID-19,” the spokesperson said. The Agency is planning to track population movement for roughly the next five years, including to address other public health issues, such as “other infectious diseases, chronic disease prevention and mental health,” the spokesperson added.

Privacy advocates raised concerns to the National Post about the long-term implications of the program. “I think that the Canadian public will find out about many other such unauthorized surveillance initiatives before the pandemic is over—and afterwards,” David Lyon, author of Pandemic Surveillance and former director of the Surveillance Studies Centre at Queen’s University, said in an email.

Lyon warned that PHAC “uses the same kinds of ‘reassuring’ language as national security agencies use, for instance not mentioning possibilities for re-identifying data that has been ‘de-identified.’”

“In principle, of course, cell data can be used for tracking.”Increased use of surveillance technology during the COVID-19 pandemic has created a new normal in the name of security, Lyon said.

The pandemic has created opportunities for a massive surveillance surge on many levels—not only for public health, but also for monitoring those working, shopping and learning from home.”

“Evidence is coming in from many sources, from countries around the world, that what was seen as a huge surveillance surge—post 9/11—is now completely upstaged by pandemic surveillance,”

The pandemic has created opportunities for a massive surveillance surge on many levels—not only for public health, but also for monitoring those working, shopping and learning from home.”

PHAC’s privacy management division conducted an assessment and “determined that since no personal information is being acquired through this contract, there are no concerns under the Privacy Act,” the PHAC spokesperson said.

US Blacklists Chinese Biotech Groups For DNA Collection Technology & Mass Surveillance

Original article via: Zerohedge

The Biden administration announced it has placed China’s Academy of Military Medical Sciences along with 11 other institutes involved in biotechnology on an export blacklist for their involvement in assisting the Communist government’s oppression and surveillance of its Muslim Uighur population.

Among other things the companies’ advanced technology is used for DNA collection as a key social control measure in the Xinjiang region, as part of efforts to use genetic technology to further mass surveillance capabilities. Further the Treasury Department was cited as saying the “action highlights how private firms in China’s defense and surveillance technology sectors are actively cooperating with the government’s efforts to persecute ethnic minorities.”

Included in the blacklist of entities that US firms can no longer invest in are commercial drone-making giant DJI Technology Co. and government linked facial-recognition technology development companies. It follows on the heels of prior sanctions days ago, most notably against the large facial recognition company SenseTime.

Additionally making the list are the facial recognition software start-up company Megvii, as well as Dawning Information Industry, which provides supercomputer-based cloud-computing services in Xinjiang. Commerce and Treasury’s growing list of banned Chinese military-industrial complex companies will by the end of this week reach almost 70.

Years ago, The Wall Street Journal and others began investigating Beijing’s attempts to build the world’s largest ever DNA security database, which could ensnare the “innocent and guilty alike”

Nationwide, police have a goal of almost doubling China’s current DNA trove to 100 million records by 2020, according to a Wall Street Journal examination of documents from police departments across China. “To get there, they need to gather almost as many records each year as are in the entire national database the U.S. has built over two decades.”

China Does not stand alone in DNA surveillance

In the U.S. DNA collection and profiling are quickly becoming cheaper, faster, easier, and more prevalent in society. Federal laws and regulations and an increasing number of state laws now require law enforcement to collect DNA from all people arrested for a crime—whether or not they are ever convicted. Federal and state DNA databanks have expanded exponentially over the last several years. The FBI’s federal CODIS DNA database now contains over 11.4 million DNA profiles.

The U.S. Justice Department recently amended the DNA Fingerprint Act of 2005 that cleared the way for DNA collection from detained immigrants, including asylum seekers whose status hasn’t yet been resolved. DNA collections from detained immigrants were ostensibly in the interest of “national security”, with results being stored in the federal DNA database for criminals (CODIS),while CODIS has strict regulations, it has expanded dramatically since its inception in 1990.

You’d Better Watch Out: The Surveillance State Has A Naughty List, And You’re On It

Original Blog Post: John W Whitehead

No longer does the all-knowing, all-seeing, jolly Old St. Nick need to rely on antiquated elves on shelves and other seasonal snitches in order to know when you’re sleeping or awake, and if you’ve been naughty or nice.

Thanks to the government’s almost limitless powers made possible by a domestic army of techno-tyrants, fusion centers and Peeping Toms, Santa can get real-time reports on who’s been good or bad this year. This creepy new era of government/corporate spying—in which we’re being listened to, watched, tracked, followed, mapped, bought, sold and targeted—makes the NSA’s rudimentary phone and metadata surveillance appear almost antiquated in comparison.

Consider just a small sampling of the tools being used to track our movements, monitor our spending, and sniff out all the ways in which our thoughts, actions and social circles might land us on the government’s naughty list.

Tracking you based on your health status. In the age of COVID-19, digital health passports are gaining traction as gatekeepers of a sort, restricting access to travel, entertainment, etc., based on one’s vaccine status. Whether or not one has a vaccine passport, however, individuals may still have to prove themselves “healthy” enough to be part of society. for instance, in the wake of Supreme Court rulings that paved the way for police to use drug-sniffing dogs as “search warrants on leashes,” government agencies are preparing to use virus-detecting canine squads to carry out mass screenings to detect individuals who may have COVID-19. Researchers claim the COVID-sniffing dogs have a 95% success rate of identifying individuals with the virus (except when they’re hungry, tired or distracted). These dogs are also being to trained to ferret out individuals suffering from other health ailments such as cancer.

Tracking you based on your face: Facial recognition software aims to create a society in which every individual who steps out into public is tracked and recorded as they go about their daily business. Coupled with surveillance cameras that blanket the country, facial recognition technology allows the government and its corporate partners to identify and track someone’s movements in real-time. One particularly controversial software program created by Clearview AI has been used by police, the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security to collect photos on social media sites for inclusion in a massive facial recognition database. Similarly, biometric software, which relies on one’s unique identifiers (fingerprints, irises, voice prints), is becoming the standard for navigating security lines, as well as bypassing digital locks and gaining access to phones, computers, office buildings, etc.

Tracking you based on your behavior: Rapid advances in behavioral surveillance are not only making it possible for individuals to be monitored and tracked based on their patterns of movement or behavior, including gait recognition (the way one walks), but have given rise to whole industries that revolve around predicting one’s behavior based on data and surveillance patterns and are also shaping the behaviors of whole populations. One smart “anti-riot” surveillance system purports to predict mass riots and unauthorized public events by using artificial intelligence to analyze social media, news sources, surveillance video feeds and public transportation data.

Tracking you based on your spending and consumer activities: With every smartphone we buy, every GPS device we install, every Twitter, Facebook, and Google account we open, every frequent buyer card we use for purchases—whether at the grocer’s, the yogurt shop, the airlines or the department store—and every credit and debit card we use to pay for our transactions, we’re helping Corporate America build a dossier for its government counterparts on who we know, what we think, how we spend our money, and how we spend our time.Consumer surveillance, by which your activities and data in the physical and online realms are tracked and shared with advertisers, has become big business, a $300 billion industry that routinely harvests your data for profit.

Tracking you based on your social media activities: Every move you make, especially on social media, is monitored, mined for data, crunched, and tabulated in order to form a picture of who you are, what makes you tick, and how best to control you when and if it becomes necessary to bring you in line. As The Intercept reported, the FBI, CIA, NSA and other government agencies are increasingly investing in and relying on corporate surveillance technologies that can mine constitutionally protected speech on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in order to identify potential extremists and predict who might engage in future acts of anti-government behavior.

Tracking you based on your phone and online activities: Cell phones have become de facto snitches, offering up a steady stream of digital location data on users’ movements and travels. Police have used cell-site simulators to carry out mass surveillance of protests without the need for a warrant. Moreover, federal agents can now employ a number of hacking methods in order to gain access to your computer activities and “see” whatever you’re seeing on your monitor. Malicious hacking software can also be used to remotely activate cameras and microphones, offering another means of glimpsing into the personal business of a target.

Fusion centers. Smart devices. Behavioral threat assessments. Terror watch lists. Facial recognition. Snitch tip lines. Biometric scanners. Pre-crime. DNA databases. Data mining. Precognitive technology. Contact tracing apps.

What these add up to is a world in which, on any given day, the average person is now monitored, surveilled, spied on and tracked in more than 20 different ways by both government and corporate eyes and ears.

Big Tech wedded to Big Government has become Big Brother.

Every second of every day, the American people are being spied on by a vast network of digital Peeping Toms, electronic eavesdroppers and robotic snoops.

In an age of overcriminalization, mass surveillance, and an appalling lack of protections for our privacy rights, we can all be considered guilty of some transgression or other.

So you’d better watch out—you’d better not pout—you’d better not cry—‘cos I’m telling you why: this Christmas, it’s the Surveillance State that’s coming to town, and you’re already on its naughty list.

Worldwide Surveillance States: 1 Billion camera’s expected by end of 2021

As 2021 draws to a close, the forward march of global Surveillance states continues on Unabated. In 2019 it was projected that by the end of 2021,there would be over 1 Billion cctv surveillance camera’s operable worldwide. The 2019 estimate is based upon a (then) current number of 770 million cctv camera’s worldwide. The global surveillance industry itself has been estimated at 42 billion dollars, with an exponential increase to 86 billion by 2027.

Developing countries, including India, Brazil and Indonesia, will overtake markets such as the U.K and Japan as the world’s largest markets for security camera. Currently an estimated  54% of those cameras are in China.

China leads the way  in surveillance oriented nations,of the current numbers of cctv cameras distributed around the globe 54% of those are used in China, in order to keep watch over it’s citizens. The Chinese government has taken full advantage of the growing surveillance industry,by employing not only cctv surveillance, but also with  the employment of Drones, Data collection ,Facial recognition software and Advanced AI surveillance algorithms. (Which yes…incredibly they have named Skynet)

Commercially, China also is home to the world’s largest surveillance camera manufacturer’s,Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd. & Dahua Technology Co account for 38% of total installations globally. Chinese Tech giant Huawei has it’s hand’s in the Surveillance pot as well, highlighting the growing global trend of  cooperation  between (outright & not so outright) Authoritarian governments and  Corporations (I.E. Corporatism).

The U.S. comes in behind China at a close second with an accounted 18 % of all installed surveillance camera’s worldwide. Projections have put the number of Surveillance camera’s in the U.S. at 70 million, with an increase to 85 million by the end of 2021. For a per capita breakdown it’s estimated that there was one installed camera for every 4.6 people in the U.S. ,while there is one installed CCTV camera per 4.1 people in China. While the United States Surveillance framework is not as (outrightly)ubiquitous as China’s, The US has one of the longest running Mass surveillance networks in the world.

Additionally a recent Stanford University study has shown the growing prevalence of surveillance devices used worldwide in large cities. Globally surveillance via not only CCTV cameras,is growing. But Surveillance is also performed on the smaller commercial scale with products such as Doorbell camera’s, (Google Nest & Amazon Ring) Video Web cameras, Smartphones & Smart Assistant’s.

As if the current situation weren’t chilling enough, the next generations of Surveillance are already in development and deployment. While there once was a fear of Big Brother and a metaphorical eye in the sky type surveillance in the past, We are currently being faced with surveillance on the micro and nano scale as well, via Smart sensors,Nanotech Smart Dust, and the Growing development of 5G  Smart Cities.

While theses Surveillance systems are designed to improve our Security and to enhance our lives in certain way’s. The greater danger behind the Global surveillance network(s) lies in  the loss of our privacy, anonymity, and freedom of movement. Which seems to be shrinking day by day and eroded away by  the actions of global governments , corporations ,and Think tanks  who act (mostly only in name) on behalf of providing us with “Safety “and “Security”.  Ultimately the reduction and regulation of such systems lies in our own hands and minds. We must be as vigilant as the Surveillance framework itself in protecting our selve’s and our Freedoms.

Australia’s Expanding Surveillance State

Mass surveillance and State sponsored/directed spying and tracking of citizens scored another victory recently in the summer of 2021. The Australian government passed a massive Surveillance bill (in less than 24 hours) that not only grants them the power to monitor it’s citizens online activity, but to also actively intervene, interrupt (Hack) and modify (Frame?) online accounts and data. It comes as no surprise to those who’ve been paying attention to Australia’s slide toward technocratic Authoritarianism. Australia (much like it’s Five eye’s intelligence partners)has had for many years a developing Mass surveillance infrastructure.

In the lead up to this,in 2018 Australia passed the TOLA act, which allowed Law enforcement and Intelligence agencies the ability to(Read:Coerce) “compel communications providers to provide assistance in accessing content as well as extensions to warrant-based collection powers.” The act also gave the power to the Australian Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO),to grant immunity from prosecution any provider/entity that would provide assistance.

The Surveillance Legislation Amendment (Identify and Disrupt) Bill 2020 gives the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) three new powers for dealing with online crime:

Data disruption warrant: gives the police the ability to “disrupt data” by modifying, copying, adding, or deleting it. While it’s called a warrant, there is an emergency authorization process for cases when it is “not practicable” to get a warrant. So a data disruption “warrant” can be issued under something referred to as an emergency authorization, which means that Australia now has a warrant less surveillance regime on the books.

A Network activity warrant: Which allows the police to collect intelligence from devices or networks that are used, or likely to be used, by those subject to the warrant. This “warrant” power allows access to networks where there is suspicion of serious online offenses, although what qualifies as “serious” has a variety of definitions in the legislation. The definitions are purposely vague so as to allow broad interpretation, which would enable widespread surveillance across social media and messaging platforms.

An Account takeover warrant: allows the police to take control of an online account (e.g. social media) for the purposes of gathering information for an investigation. This power also allows for the ability to lock the account holder out. This can be done covertly and without consent, so the individual wouldn’t necessarily know what is going on until or if they are ever charged. The warrant is applicable for a maximum of 90 days (though extensions are possible) — so that is the length of time a law enforcement officer can impersonate you or use your accounts to monitor your activity and gather information.

Even with all the broad spying powers introduced by this bill, There was at least one “recommendation” for public advocacy & introducing a public interest advocate into this process. A public interest candidate is someone who would argue on behalf of the affected individual in the room where as now only a police officer and a judge get to play judge and jury. But As it stands, the Australian government remains uninterested in allowing individuals to defend their rights: there is no one to argue on your behalf, and there is never any notification to the individual (even after the fact) so you will never know if you were subject to any of these powers.

Being that the bill was passed with little opposition, and rushed through the legislature with all parties in lockstep with the surveillance agenda. Australia’s government has shown it’s contempt for it’s citizens privacy in order to accrue more powers for “fighting online crime”. Continuing the global trend (Since 2001) of developed nations curtailing citizens civil liberties,in the name of “national security”.

Surveilling Citizen’s protests – Equal opportunity across the board

Australia’s government has a significant history of monitoring it’s citizens movements, especially in the case of citizens protests. Which includes protests of all kinds, not just the most recent protests against government Covid lockdowns and Emergency Pandemic legislation. Climate activist protestors have also been targeted by Australian police for surveillance & harassment. In the post 9-11 & GWOT era these surveillance powers had been used against “fighting terrorism” and since that was a vague enough excuse for the growth of Global mass surveillance,it’s now continued on in the Covid era,in the name of “public health and safety”. So for those who may be out protesting in a “Noble social justice”capacity,or in a (red pill right wing)rage fueled Anti-Government stance, they’re all watched under the same umbrella of State Surveillance in protecting it’s own narrow interests,no matter what propagandistic language those justifications may be couched in.

NY Draconian Covid Quarantine Detention Bill Proposed for 2022

In the next legislative session beginning January 5th, 2022, the New York State Senate and Assembly could vote on a bill that would grant permissions to remove and detain cases, contacts, carriers, or anyone suspected of presenting a “significant threat to public health” and remove them from public life on an indefinite basis.

The bill, titled A416,(originally introduced in 2016 Pre-pandemic) was introduced by democratic assemblyman Nick Perry,The bill was written in 2015 after a woman refused to quarantine after working closely with patients who had Ebola.

The bill states that the governor or health commissioner, “upon determining by clear and convincing evidence that the health of others is or may be endangered by a case, contact or carrier…may order the removal and/or detention of such a person or of a group of such persons by issuing a single order. The bill gives the Governor of New York, his or her delegates – including but not limited to the commissioner and heads of local health departments – the right to remove and detain any individuals or groups of people through issuing a single order. The orders only have to include the individual’s name(s) or “reasonably specific descriptions of the individuals or groups.” (Anti-Vaxx “extremists???)

A416 goes on to read:

Upon determining by clear and convincing evidence that the health of others is or may be endangered by a case, contact or carrier, or suspected case, contact or carrier of a contagious disease that, in the opinion of the governor, after consultation with the commissioner, may pose an imminent and significant threat to the public health resulting in severe morbidity or high mortality, the governor or his or her delegee, including, but not limited to the commissioner or the heads of local health departments, may order the removal and/or detention of such a person or of a group of such persons by issuing a single order, identifying such persons either by name or by a reasonably specific description of the individuals or group being detained. Such person or group of persons shall be detained in a medical facility or other appropriate facility or premises designated by the governor or his or her delegee.

The designated departments can decide to hold a person or group of people in a medical facility or any other they deem appropriate. The language is purposefully vague.

Though the bill attempts to state that no one shall be held for more than 60 days, the language allows for court orders to waive this maximum detention time. After 60 days, the court is allowed an additional 90 days to consider the detention of an individual, a cycle that can last indefinitely per the opinion of the department. (Now I wonder where, they learned that trick from? Guantanamo..?? Anybody remember that?)

The bill has seen several iterations in coming to the state assembly since 2016. It has been introduced in the 2015-2016, 2017-2018, 2019-2020 legislative sessions, and the current session.

As per a similar article from earlier in 2021.

When confronted with the Truth..What’s the simplest Defense??…Claim ignorance

Now that the Sexual Molester in chief is out of office it doesn’t help that his replacement is a Rabid  Covid Cult advocate. Who most likely would wield such “little a Authoratarian” power with gleeful abandon in “keeping the public safe”.    Medical Martial law at it’s finest.

The Most Surveilled Cities

2021 is a big moment for CCTV: the world’s one-billionth surveillance camera is likely to be installed by the end of the year. A single CCTV camera per every eight humans on Earth. Each camera though doesn’t follow a set group of people around, creating a neatly edited portrait. The cameras are (mostly) fixed in position, and some countries have many more cameras than others.

In China and the US, for example, there is already one camera per 4.1 and 4.6 people, respectively – way ahead of the curve.

But what if it is more pertinent to think of how cameras are distributed spatially? After all, more cameras across a city with a smaller footprint makes for greater coverage of everybody’s comings and goings.

The increasing levels of CCTV surveillance could have direct implication to people’s privacy, so Surfshark wanted to know which cities have the highest number of CCTV cameras per square kilometer. We gathered the numbers, crunched them, and produced a series of new visualizations to illustrate just how pervasive surveillance cameras are in the 130 most populous international cities.

Big Brother is Watching

So how many of us are being watched? China and India are the countries with the highest densities of CCTV surveillance cameras in urban areas. Chennai, India has 657 cameras per square kilometer, making it the number one city in the world in terms of surveillance.

Here’s a closer look at the world’s top 10 cities by CCTV density.

Biometrics being pushed on travelers in the Covid era.

“May you live in interesting times”...is a cultural colloqualism that can be taken as either a blessing or a curse. Given our current trajectory down the path of total Biosecurity slavery,Ill take it as the latter. And we sure do live in “interesting times”. The Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing 2 years of constant fear mongering over a novel virus that has yet to leave bodies piled up in the streets, have been the center point for a continued assault upon the public’s privacy and “freedom” of travel(We can thank the Global War OF Terror for the kickoff to this party). While Biometrics have been gradually being integrated into the global travel infrastructure, There is now a parallel (Biosecurity) infrastructure being built to fight yet another invisible enemy. Sure being that we live in an age of advanced technology, these types of changes were bound to happen in the way we travel and live our lives. However on the flip side there are forces that seek to leverage these advancements for further control and coralling of the population,to place us on a fast track to a Dystopian vision of how were allowed to move, travel and live our lives, all in the name of staying “Healthy”,”Safe” and “Secure”. As though we needed a constant daddying supervision of our unruly and dangerous “Freedom”.

While the global pandemic hit the airline industries pockets pretty hard in 2020,With a 387 billion dollar net loss (or so they say). That didn’t stop the forward progress Frog march of the global surveillance industry which took full advantage of the New Bio-security state paradigm in the Wake of Covid-19.

London’s Heathrow airport (situated in one of the most heavily surveilled cities in the world) went ahead with pre pandemic plans of installing 400 new Biometric “self boarding”gates to the tune of 50 million pounds and billed as one of “the biggest single deployment’s of biometric technology in the world.”. Of course each one of these 400 gates is equipped with facial recognition cameras and software ostensibly to create a “seamless experience for passengers”.

How will Facial recognition work in the age of required masking you may ask? No worries they’ve already got that figured out(of course)with credit due to the decade long War on Terror. Israeli based company Corsight is working with multiple law enforcement & intelligence agencies and has established business with several airports in deploying an AI facial recognition system that can “see through masks”

As per Corsights CEO: “Corsight’s autonomous AI is essentially military-grade software and represents a vast evolution over the type of facial recognition tech we’re used to using. “We can identify someone with 90-degree head turn. We can identify someone with a camera at 70-degree rake, we can identify someone with a face mask—not just with a face mask, but with a ski mask…with hat, glasses, all of that, And, astonishingly,“We can identify someone who is now age 50 from a photograph of them at age 17.”

Makes you feel all cold and creepy inside huh?

Touchless” technology is one of the burgeoning Tech/surveillance advancments in the post pandemic era,of course being marketed as “safe” and “efficient” ways of tech/social interaction to limit your exposure to cooties and to keep you from having to actually interface with another human being(Do i sense a sort of de-humanization in these technologies?).
Of course in the case of Air travel this technology doesn’t prevent you from being packed like sardines into a flying aluminum tube with other dirty humans and their offspring….But im sure they’ll be finding a Transhumanist solution to that at some point.

With the airline industry on a slow rebound in this post covid era, not much has changed in the way of the usual flight delay’s and endless hours of waiting around to catch your flight. Well of course that issue is addressed by Tascent technologies and their announcement of creating Touchless passenger lounges, also equipped with…you guessed it Facial recognition technology. Welcome to the Air travel version of the Panopticon..it’s all for your “convenience” and (Health?) “Safety” of course. No specifics on how they plan to implement such a strategy, but no doubt it will have some kind of preference to Vaxxed individuals,vs exclusion of the unvaxxed. A little bit more on that later…

But don’t you worry US travelers, this type of intrusion isnt just relegated to overseas airports..No we live in the age of GLOBAL Mass surveillance. Not only will you have the pleasure of being tracked and traced by AI algorithm’s but Airport police will be equipped with specially designed Facial recognition/Thermal sensing cameras. Yup… be prepared to be stared down by officer Robocop on your next Disney vacation.

As per the reporting of MasspriveteI: KeyBiz’s smart helmets also come equipped with license plate readers, essentially turning cops into mobile surveillance platforms.According to an NBC 25 News article the Feds are sneaking facial recognition smart helmets into airports looking for blacklisted or “wanted criminals.”

Although the article does not specifically mention blacklisted people, it does mention that airport police use smart helmets to compare peoples faces to “databases of alleged criminals.” History has shown that airport police (DHS/TSA) have access to numerous databases of blacklisted people and a secret list of unruly passengers.

The creeping Tyranny we were warned about in the War of Terror campaign,is no longer creeping,it’s coming at you in full force,on all four fours….

Of course it seems recently that compliance has become the norm for the worlds populace who have been terrorized into a Stockholm syndrome level of Psychological conditioning. A recent IATA report noted that a majority of passengers were willing to go along with this Digital dictatorship,in order to avoid waiting on long lines….

According to Nick Careen, IATA’s Vice President for Operation, Safety and Security, passengers want technology to work harder, so they don’t have to spend long waiting hours in queues or waiting to get their documents checked. The Global Passenger Survey for 2021 (GPS) which counted 13,579 respondents from 186 countries, reveals that 73 per cent of passengers claimed to be willing to provide their biometric data to improve the travel and airport check processes, showing an increase of 27 per cent compared to 2019.

Compliance has never worked, just look at the example of approximately 262 million citizens murdered by their governments in the 20th century.

Vaxx passports & Digital ID a warning fallen on deaf ears, Now a reality

As I wrote about in Early 2021..Vaccine passports were already under developments and ready to be released to the world’s public. Of course the majority of normie’s who would have heard such a proposition called it impossible and crazy. Not more than 6 months later, were looking at a GLOBAL Vaccine passport scheme. Now while not entirely monolithic and united in systems there are now multiple nations that are requiring their citizens to show proof of vaccination in order to travel,Work, and to even pay for groceries.

Of course it’s unprecedented that a majority of the worlds population’s movements would be restricted to something as seemingly arbitrary (in 2019 standards,I’d guess) as vaccination status, but yet…here we are. While the purpose here is not to argue the validity of the so called “global Pandemic”it’s pretty obvious that these programs of Mass surveillance,Tracking, and Biometric monitoring wouldn’t be at this stage of advancement without a GLOBAL Emergency excuse (A Biological/Psychological 9-11 if you will).

The newest iterations in the Vaxx passport scheme range from IATA’s Global travel pass initiative,”green passes” in the EU,Israel,China, and hold on get ready for this one…..”Super” green passes in Italy. While the US doesn’t have an outright Vaccine passport program, there is the CLEAR health pass app, which “links Covid-19 health information to biometric identifiers such as your face, eyes and fingerprints”. But hey…It’s not a Vaxx passport, it’s a “health convenience” Right guys????

Almost all aspects of what was once considered “normal” daily life in these countries,Freedom of travel,Freedom of assembly, down to even whether or not you’ll be allowed to feed yourself have been subjugated and surrendered to Govt mandates, which require “Full vaccination” and proof of such via your Digital health Id or Vaccine passport. So…Who are the crazy ones now?????

Vaxx Passports/Digital ID: two sides of the same Globalist coin

The push to global digital Identification has been in place even before the pandemic. In 2016 the United Nations held the opening of the ID2020 summit which discussed plans and how to implement ways to provide digital ID to everyone on the planet. While couched in the terms of “sustainable development” and “equity” The UN planned called for means to “provide all invisible and vulnerable people with legal identity by 2030, to make them visible and restore them into society”.Once again we see the globalist trend of manipulating lofty language and tugging on the heart strings to advance their control agenda’s. In 2018 the Known Traveler Digitial Identity (KTDI) initiative was launched by the World Economic Forum,That bastion of Globalist innovation that has given us “The Great Reset”. In collaboration with the governments of Canada (Which now has one of the strictest vaxx passport/ID scheme imprisoning it’s own citizens) and The Netherlands, The KTDI initiative piloted paperless digital travel documents for traveler’s between both countries.

And of course not more than a few weeks into the opening of the Pandemic itself we had the consummate globalist lap dog himself, Bill Gates “specultaing” that at some very near future point “Eventually we will have some digital certificates to show who has recovered or been tested recently or when we have a vaccine who has received it.” Really ahead of the curves there, huh Bill? Gates isn’t alone in this push for digital immunity ID,of course other like minded Technocrat’s/Government talking heads and Corporate “business leaders” have been insistent in this push for global digital ID.

What are they gonna do next,Microchip us? You’re crazy if you think that……..

Of course one of the Ad-hominem attacks against those of us critical of this agenda,is that we’re crazy for thinking that anyone would want to track and control us. Our governments and Public-Private partnerships(Corporate Fascism) are only doing this for our own best interests. Tracking via Microchips is one of the tropes that is pushed by popular opinion and the media,no doubt spurned on by earlier conspiracy theorists and their speculations about tracking via Microchips.

Well now Truth is stranger than fiction,Personal microchipping is here, and has been here since before the pandemic.

So is this case of Life imitating (paranoid) art/predictive programming?
Or just the culmination of a decades long plan to acclimate the population to such a concept?

It’s kind of simplistic to criticize the idea of Tracking chips and Technologies when people are willingly allowing themselves to be tracked and traced by such means.

But then again, we’re in the 21st century,So Microchips,RFID and Bar codes are a thing of the past. In the new Biosecurity paradigm,tracking/tracing and constant surveillence is being accomplish on the nano and atomic levels. As we move further along our path of almost cyberpunk/Corporate overlord dystopia,we have begun the process of categorizing/inventorying ourselves as well as almost every other life form animate or inanimate,Via The Internet of Things(IOT),& the Internet of Bodies(IOB).

And so the further you dig into these topics, the clearer it becomes that we are inching (Incrementalism) towards a Total panopticon style society. The more that the public complies with such steps towards Total tyranny in the empty name of “Health and Safety” (Biosecurity) the worse it will become, All via a process of acclimation and gradualism. But then again that’s been the globalist strategy for nearly a hundred years now. It’s up to us to act on this knowledge that (For now) is freely available to us. Much like the concept of a virus, these forces thrive in darkness and invisibilty, but that which can be destroyed by exposure to the light of Truth,Should be destroyed by Truth. All it takes is the commitment to act upon these realizations, rather than passing the buck to the next guy,or the next generation. the only ones coming to save us…are ourselves.
